REINFORCEMENT FRAMES AND STRUCTURES

Areinforcing frame is a steel element used to reinforce concrete (reinforced concrete) or masonry (reinforced stone).

Itis made of carbon steel and has a ribbed surface to improve its bond with the concrete, which is highly resistant in compression but weak in tension. To compensate for this imbalance, reinforcement cages are incorporated into the concrete mass to take up tensile forces.

Masonry, with its mortar joints, has the same weaknesses as concrete. To improve tensile strength, reinforcement cages can be incorporated into the voids in masonry units.

WELDED MESH

Welded wire mesh isa reinforcement for reinforced concrete, presented in sheets or rolls of crossed reinforcing bars joined by welding.

Theyare used as an alternative to insulated bars, which have to be assembled one by one (reinforcement).

Web sizes, welding mesh sizes and bar diameters vary according to need.

Typically, we use 2.4m × 3m plates and standard rolls of small-diameter steel to be unwound and cut.

Forgreater adhesion and efficiency, all our welded mesh is manufactured with notched steel wires.

Theproduction of clear wire is carried out using the latest generation of rectilinear dry wire drawing machines equipped with pivoting dies and in-line control to guarantee diameter tolerance and surface quality.

Thiswire is suitable for straightening, bending and welding with a quality that is adjusted to its application.
